CAP 50/70 is currently the most widely used bitumen grade in Brazil for asphalt paving applications. It is specifically recommended for areas with light to moderate traffic loads. This material is also the preferred choice for producing asphalt emulsions and features a minimum Softening Point of 46°C. When properly mixed with aggregates and applied following correct execution protocols, it provides roadways and urban pavements with an exceptional wearing course layer.

PG 76-10 performs reliably in temperatures up to 76°C and remains crack-resistant at lows of -10°C. In Brazil, its properties are comparable to CAP 30/45.

PG 76-10 modified with SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene) aligns closely with Brazilian grades AMP 65/90-E and AMP 80/90, demonstrating 90% elastic recovery.
